Little Amal, a giant walking puppet modeled after a Syrian girl, is traveling around the US to raise awareness and donations for young refugees. The puppet, created by a London nonprofit and a South African puppet company, aims to show that displaced children have dreams and potential. Little Amal is currently in Pittsburgh, where she will be participating in various free events throughout the city.
