Culver City recently conducted its annual homeless count, with city staff and volunteers hitting the streets to get an accurate snapshot of the homelessness crisis in the community. The count took place in the morning along the Ballona Creek and in the evening throughout the rest of Culver City, with the aim of identifying progress and needs to better allocate resources and secure funding. Despite the long road ahead, Culver City is proud of the progress it has made in addressing homelessness and providing support and care to those in need.
