职位要求：

• Application deadline: 11:59:59 pm EST on April 15th, 2024. 

• Finalists will be notified no later than April 18th.  

• Finalists will be asked to join us in Chicago to present their research to the Decision Panel the week of April 22nd. Round-trip airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, and meals will be included. 

• Fellowship recipients will be notified by April 30th.  

• GQS PhD Fellowship Eligibility: Students eighteen years of age or older who are currently enrolled at an accredited university in the United States pursuing a PhD in Math, Statistics, or a related discipline. 

• Fellows will be eligible to receive a grant of up to $100,000 to cover tuition, fees and stipend for the 2024/2025 academic year. PhD fellowships may require university-specific payment arrangements. We will work with each Fellow’s program to arrange the award of your fellowship prior to the 2024/2025 academic year. Recipients will also be matched with a GQS Research Mentor and will be eligible for GQS career opportunities. Recipients are responsible for any taxes incurred due to the value of the Fellowship benefits.

职位要求：

• Experience with optimizing execution in areas for single/multi-period portfolio optimization, execution analysis, and extracting predictive trading signals from order or market data

• Strong technical & programming skills, with a focus on data analysis

• Experience with KDB+ preferred

• Experience in building trading applications in Java is a plus

• Knowledge of basic statistical modelling and techniques, experience with machine learning or probabilistic programming is a plus

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and sophisticated concepts clearly and concisely

• B.S., M.S. or PhD in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, or other quantitative discipline.

• Programming in Python (or comparable language) and working knowledge of SQL

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Willingness to take ownership of his/her work.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong desire to deliver high quality results in a timely fashion.

• Detail-oriented.

• Prior experience in the financial services industry is not required. 

• A commitment to the highest ethical standards.
