Ireland, Spain and Norway are recognizing a Palestinian state, the three announced Wednesday.

当地时间22日，巴勒斯坦总统阿巴斯通过巴勒斯坦官方通讯社（瓦法）发表声明，对挪威、爱尔兰和西班牙三国承认巴勒斯坦国表示高度赞赏和欢迎。

The Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas welcomed on Wednesday Norway's, Spain's and Ireland's recognition of the state of Palestine, respectively.

声明表示，三国的决定，是对因以色列单方面政策特别是以军在加沙军事行动而受损的巴以两国方案的挽救，是对巴勒斯坦人民合法权利的支持，为实现巴勒斯坦人民在其土地上的自决权以及采取实际步骤支持巴以两国方案的实施做出贡献，再度证明巴勒斯坦人民有权摆脱殖民主义的迫害，并享有自由、正义和独立的生活。

Abbas confirmed that the three countries have steadfastly supported the rights of the Palestinian people over the past years and voted in favor of these rights in international forums, adding that this initial decision is a culmination of these positions and is consistent with the principles of international law that recognize the right of peoples to get rid of colonialism and oppression and to live in freedom, justice and independence.

声明敦促世界各国，特别是尚未承认巴勒斯坦国的欧洲国家，以挪威、爱尔兰和西班牙三国为榜样，基于国际法规和以1967年边界为基础的国际公认的巴以两国方案，承认巴勒斯坦国，支持实现和平与稳定，巩固国际法和相关国际法规的合法性。

Abbas urged the countries of the world, especially the European countries that have not yet recognized the State of Palestine, to recognize the State of Palestine in accordance with the internationally recognized two-state solution based on international legitimacy resolutions and the 1967 lines, and to follow the example of Norway, Ireland and Spain, which chose the path of supporting the achievement of peace and stability and consolidating the rules of international legitimacy, and international law.

当地时间5月22日，在爱尔兰和挪威宣布承认巴勒斯坦国之后，以色列外交部长卡茨宣布立即召回以色列驻爱尔兰和挪威大使就两国决定进行磋商。

Israel immediately ordered back its ambassadors from Norway and Ireland and appeared ready to do the same with its ambassador to Spain.

卡茨在一份声明中称，以色列向爱尔兰和挪威发出明确信息，以色列不会保持沉默。
