巴黎奥运跑道是紫色的！网友：像在薰衣草花田奔跑

今年巴黎奥运会的田径赛场将出现史无前例的紫色跑道。

Fans will be seeing purple at the Olympics when athletes try to set records at this summer’s Paris Games. In a move away from a more traditional red-brick clay color, an Olympic track is going purple for the first time.

近日，将于奥运会举办期间进行田径项目的法兰西体育场（Stade de France）内的跑道已经被铺上一层浪漫的紫色，以呼应巴黎奥运会视觉识别系统中的色调。

常规的运动赛场的跑道，一般都是砖红色，而这一次奥委会打破了常规。

负责2024年巴黎奥运会田径运动的体育经理阿莱恩·布朗德尔解释称，这是为了与观众座位区形成更鲜明的对比，更加吸引现场和电视机前的观众的注意力。同时，“跑道的紫色能让人想起薰衣草”（reminiscent of lavender）。

布朗德尔表示：“本届奥运会场馆都包含蓝色、绿色和紫色，我们决定使用深浅色调的紫色来区分跑道的功能：浅紫色为赛道区域，深紫色为服务区域，跑道尽头的转弯区则为灰色。”

“The look of the Games includes three colors for all the competition venues: blue, green and purple. We decided on this purple track with different tones: lighter for the track, darker for the service areas, and grey for the turns at the end of the bend,” said Alain Blondel, the sports manager overseeing athletics events, who added that the choice of the shade is reminiscent of lavender.

除了与灰色的观众席形成鲜明对比，紫色跑道在电视转播中能够更好地凸显运动员的身姿，能让运动员在跑道上更加显眼，使其成为运动员脱颖而出的绝佳舞台。

The color of the lanes stands out from the grey of the spectator seating.

This purple color, never seen before for an athletics track, has been the result of a long process but it doesn't have to be just beautiful.

“We had to work hard on the colors so that they came out in the best possible tones to highlight the athletes. It's a track, it has to be pretty, but above all it's a stage on which the athletes are going to perform. What's really important is that the colors and the athletes stand out,” said Blondel.

Different colors can trigger different emotions and feelings. For example, red makes people feel excited and energetic; blue helps reduce stress and anxiety, while purple has some of the characteristics of both red and blue, which can motivate athletes to perform at their best and help them produce good results.
