哈佛中国教育论坛成立于2010年,是哈佛教育学院官方的学生组织,也是美国顶尖高等学府中对中国教育关注度最高和影响力最大的公益平台。秉持 “启迪、创新、影响” 的使命,一年一度的论坛旨在连接中美教育实践者、学者、政策制定者、企业家及各界领袖精英,促进与中国教育相关的深度讨论,支持教育实践,鼓励教育创新,推动成果展示。

第15届哈佛中国教育论坛


2024年美东时间4月19至21日,在为期三天的论坛里,我们将用科技连接全球,在科技与教育公平、媒体素养教育、可持续发展教育、心理教育、人工智能教育实践这五大分论坛进行深度对话。此外,今年论坛还将开展线下企业招聘会和阅读教育圆桌论坛特别活动,融合传统智慧与科技创新,探索教育领域的全新可能性。


本次论坛中,五大分论坛及特别活动将以全球线上直播的形式进行,观众免费参与。更多报名信息请持续关注公众号。


开幕式及企业招聘会将在哈佛大学校园内线下进行。开幕式为购票活动。

Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in New York




黄屏大使自2018年11月起担任中国驻纽约总领事(大使衔)。此前历任中国驻津巴布韦共和国特命全权大使、外交部领事司司长、中国驻芝加哥总领事、外交部领事司副司长、浙江省绍兴市副市长、中国驻加拿大使馆参赞、中国驻美国使馆三等秘书等职务。

黄屏大使于1963年1月出生于贵州,获有华东师范大学理学学士学位、伦敦政治经济学院文学硕士学位、北京大学与国家行政学院合作培养公共管理硕士学位。

Amb. Huang Ping assumed duties as Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in New York in November 2018.


Previously, he served as Ambassador to Zimbabwe from 2015 to 2018. His career path includes Director-General of Consular Affairs Department in Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Consul General of China in Chicago, Deputy Director-General of Consular Affairs Department in MFA, Deputy Mayor of Shaoxing City in Zhejiang Province, Counselor in Chinese Embassy in Canada, and third secretary in Chinese Embassy in the United States.


Amb. Huang was born in January 1963 in Guizhou Province. He earned his B.A. degree in Science from East China Normal University, M.A. degree in Arts from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and MPA from Chinese Academy of Governance and Peking University.

Howard Gardner is the Hobbs Research Professor of Cognition and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is a leading thinker on education and human development, studying and writing extensively about intelligence, creativity, leadership, and professional ethics. He has received honorary degrees from thirty-one colleges and universities, including institutions in Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, South Korea, and Spain. A MacArthur Prize Fellow in 1981, he is the winner of the 1990 Grawmeyer Award in Education, the 2011 Asturias Prize in Social Science, the 2015 Brock International Prize in Education, and the 2021 AERA Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education Award. 


With Wendy Fischman, Gardner has recently completed a national study of higher education. A book on the study, The Real World of College, was published in March 2022 by MIT Press. He also directed an international study of the United World Colleges, a network of secondary schools. Other recent books by Gardner include Good Work; Changing Minds; The Development and Education of the Mind; Multiple Intelligences: New Horizons; Truth, Beauty and Goodness Reframed; and The App Generation, co-authored with Katie Davis. His intellectual memoir, A Synthesizing Mind, was published in 2020 by MIT Press. A festschrift marking Gardner’s 70th birthday is available online at howardgardner.com as further information about this unique text. 

In the period from 1980-2010, Howard made frequent trips to China. His early experiences are described in his book, To Open Minds: Chinese Clues to the Dilemma of Contemporary Education.







Fernando Reimers

Fernando Reimers是哈佛大学福特基金会国际教育实践教授及全球教育创新倡议的主任,当选为美国国家教育学院和国际教育学院的成员。

Fernando Reimers is the Ford Foundation Professor of the Practice of International Education and Director of the Global Education Innovation Initiative at Harvard University. He is an elected member of the US National Academy of Education and of the International Academy of Education.


An expert in the field of Global Education, his research and teaching focus on understanding how to educate children and youth so they can thrive in the 21st century. He was a member of UNESCOs Commission on the Futures of Education which wrote the report ‘Reimagining Our Futures Together. A New Social Contract for Education’. He was a member of the advisory committee of the UN Education Summit. He has developed a curriculum aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals which is in use in many schools throughout the world. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led numerous comparative studies examining the educational consequences of the pandemic and identifying options to sustain educational opportunities and to build back better. 

 

He directs the Global Education Innovation Initiative, a cross-country research and practice collaborative focusing on education for the 21st century. He has written or edited 50 books and over 100 articles and chapters and has authored several children’s books focused on inclusive values.

 

As part of his commitment to advancing educational opportunities, he serves on multiple advisory boards and committees at Harvard. He also serves on the boards of a range of education organizations focused on the improvement of education and the promotion of peace, inclusion, and sustainability. He has served on the Harvard faculty since 1998. Previous to that he worked at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, the Harvard Institute for International Development, and the World Bank.

Chris Dede is a Senior Research Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and was for 22 years its Timothy E. Wirth Professor in Learning Technologies. His fields of scholarship include emerging technologies, policy, and leadership. From 2001-2004, he was Chair of the HGSE Department of Teaching and Learning. In 2007, he was honored by Harvard University as an outstanding teacher, and in 2011 he was named a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association. In 2023 he was named a Fellow of the Online Learning Consortium.


In 2020, Chris co-founded the Silver Lining for Learning Initiative. He is currently an Advisor to the Alliance for the Future of Digital Learning, sponsored by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiative (MBRGI). Also, Chris is a Co-Principal Investigator and Associate Director for Research of the NSF-funded National Artificial Intelligence Institute in Adult Learning and Online Education.


His most recent co-edited books include Teacher Learning in the Digital Age: Online Professional Development in STEM Education; Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Realities in Education; Learning Engineering for Online Education: Theoretical Contexts and Design-based Examples; and The 60-Year Curriculum: New Models for Lifelong Learning in the Digital Economy.

As the first educator to teach an edX course on circuits and electronics from MIT, Anant drew 155,000 students from 162 countries. Today, he leverages his expertise in building powerful online learning engines to drive edX’s growth as one of the world’s most comprehensive free-to-degree online learning platforms, under parent company 2U. Anant holds a bachelor’s degree from IIT Madras and a Ph.D. from Stanford University.






Eileen Rudden

Eileen is an investor, advisor, and board member in education technology. Eileen is currently an Innovation Fellow at the Harvard iLab. A co-founder of LearnLaunch, Eileen received her MBA from Harvard Business School, and her BA from Brown University, where she served as a Trustee and is currently Chair of the Advisory Committee on Computing and Information Technology. A software leader for over thirty years, she led Lotus Notes, the first generation of collaboration software, with hundreds of millions of users. She has served on four public company boards, is an active angel investor (Sankaty Growth Partners), and is a member of Launchpad Venture Group.


She currently serves on the board of workforce-tech startup AceUp, as well as non-profits KnowledgeWorks, New Tech Network, and the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education. A graduate of the Broad Superintendent’s Academy, Eileen served as Chief Officer of College and Career for Chicago Public Schools, the nation’s third-largest public school system. Eileen regularly serves as a judge in many edtech competitions, including the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge, Milken-Penn GSE Business Plan, Learning Tools Competition, SxSWedu Launch, and Edtech Week Competitions.


Eileen is an avid naturalist and birder, as well as a cyclist. She is the mother of three sons and grandmother of five.

梁静是松鼠Ai联合创始人、智能科学与系统博士、UNIR iTED研究院客座教授。她也是中国自动化学会智慧教育专业委员会副主任委员、教育部教育信息化技术标准委员会《基础教育知识图谱标准》工作组核心成员、中国教育发展战略学会人工智能与机器人教育专委会常务理事、中国互联网协会智慧教育工委会技术与标准工作组副组长、IEEE国际基础教育标准工作组秘书长。她曾获2020年度商业女性领导者、2019中国女性科技创业者Top30,带领公司获得联合国教科文(UNESCO)AI教育创新大奖。

梁静曾受邀在IJCAI、ACM SIGKDD、Slush、TechCrunch、World Summit AI、O'reilly AI、瑞银等国际AI学术及AI教育峰会演讲,接受Bloomberg等全球知名媒体采访。她也是全球人工智能+智适应教育峰会(AIAED)的创始人,AIAED峰会聚焦人工智能教育的重要趋势,探讨如何将人工智能技术应用于下一代教育以及自适应如何大规模影响人类学习。

Joleen is the Co-Founder of Squirrel Ai Learning, received her Ph.D in Intelligent Science and Systems at Macau University of Science and Technology, and serves as the visiting Professor at The Research Institute for Innovation and Technology in Education (UNIR iTED). She serves as the founder/director of AI+Adaptive Education International Conference (AIAED); the secretary of the IEEE International K-12 Education Standards Working Group; the vice-Dean of Intelligent Education Committee, China Automation Congress; the deputy head of the Technology and Standards Working Group, the Smart Education Working Committee of the Internet Society of China; and the executive director of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Education Committee of the China Education Development Strategy Society. Joleen has spoken at World Summit AI together with Yoshua Bengio and Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director General for Education, UNESCO. Joleen was also invited to speak at domestic and international AI-related academic and education summits including IJCAI, ACM KDD, ACM UMAP, and UBS Investor Conference, and she has been interviewed by Bloomberg and other media.


Joleen has led the promotion of smart education public school projects and AI Intelligent hardware, which has served 60,000+ full-time primary and secondary schools nationwide. The company Squirrel Ai has brought AI intelligent learning systems/hardware to more than 20 million users. In 2020, Joleen and Squirrel Ai were honored with the ‘AI Education Innovation Award’ by UNESCO. Squirrel Ai’s case study in online learning was published in UNESCO reports. 


Joleen is also the founder/director of the AI+Adaptive Education International Conference (AIAED) focusing on important trends emerging from AI-tech applied to next-generation education and how these advances can impact adaptive human learning at scale.
