美中将举行2020年代强化气候行动双边工作组会议

5月8日至9日，美国将在华盛顿特区接待中华人民共和国气候变化事务特使刘振民。双方将举行21世纪20年代强化气候行动双边工作组会议，以加速在这个十年间的具体气候行动。会议将重点讨论《阳光之乡声明》中确定的领域，包括能源转型、甲烷和其他非二氧化碳温室气体、循环经济和资源效率、低碳和可持续的省/州和城市，以及毁林等。双边工作组由总统国际气候政策高级顾问约翰·波德斯塔和中国气候变化事务特使刘振民共同领导，成员包括两国相关官员。

United States Hosts PRC Special Envoy for Climate Change

On May 8-9, the United States will host People’s Republic of China (PRC) Special Envoy for Climate Change Liu Zhenmin in Washington, DC, for a meeting of the bilateral Working Group on Enhancing Climate Action in the 2020s, aimed at accelerating concrete climate actions this decade.  The meeting will focus on areas identified in the Sunnylands Statement, including energy transition, methane and other non-CO2 greenhouse gases, circular economy and resource efficiency, low-carbon and sustainable provinces/states and cities, and deforestation, among others.  The Working Group is co-led by Senior Advisor to the President for International Climate Policy John Podesta and PRC Special Envoy for Climate Change Liu Zhenmin, and will include relevant officials from the two countries.
